Dr. Crawford mostly uses cognitive and behavioral approaches to therapy. Insight approaches are also incorporated into therapy as appropriate. He is more interested in genuinely understanding the client's experience than merely finding a quick label for their experience. Typically there is homework, appropriate to the need, to be completed prior to the next appointment. Dr. Crawford approaches life and counseling from a Christian perspective. However, this perspective is not required of clients.
